Missouri Awarded Five Million for Public Transit
COLUMBIA - The Department of Transportation and Federal Transit Administration have awarded the state of Missouri $5 million in federal grant funding for public transit upgrades.
Funds will help replace nine old or high-mileage buses in the St. Louis area and six buses in the city of Columbia.
The DOT says the project was selected in a competitive process through the FTA's State of Good Repair Project.
