COLUMBIA, MO - Missouri golf coach Mark Leroux announced on Jan. 15 that golfer Linus Lilliedahl will sign a Financial Aid agreement and will join the Missouri golf team this spring.

Lilliedah, a native of Sweeden, was a member of the Swedish Junior National Team last season. He finished his junior career off with two Top 10 finishes in the Swedish Junior National Tournament.

Leroux sees the potential impact Missouri can make in helping the young golfer develop.

"Linus has a great feel for the game and will have a chance to take that next step with our facilities and competition level in the Southeastern Conference," said Leroux in an interview with MUTigers.com

He will begin practicing with the team next week and make his Missouri debut at the Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grade, Puerto Rico on Feb 23-25.
