Missouri Lawmakers to Study Pay of State Workers
JEFFERSON CITY (AP) - Missouri lawmakers plan to study the pay of state workers.
Legislators approved a resolution Thursday creating a 10-member joint House and Senate committee to examine the salaries of state employees. The panel will compare Missouri's public worker wages to those of other states and suggest ways to provide raises.
The committee is to finish its work before legislators begin the 2012 session next January.
