Missouri Lottery Director to Head MUSL Finance Committee
JEFFERSON CITY - May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery, has been elected chair of the Multi-State Lottery Association's Finance and Audit Committee. As the committee chair, Reardon also becomes a member of the MUSL Executive Committee.
The Finance and Audit Committee is responsible for overseeing MUSL's $3.8 million budget. It is also responsible for approving, monitoring and auditing all accounts, financial transactions and costs, developing investment policies, selecting investment and custodial vendors, and providing financial expertise to committees and product groups.
The Multi-State Lottery Association is a government-benefit association owned and operated by 33 member lotteries to administer six various multi-state "numbers" games, including Powerball.
Reardon replaces Ernie Passailaigue, director of the Arkansas Lottery, whose maximum two-year term expired.
