Missouri Makes a Showing in the 2012 Olympics

Meet the 2012 Olympians from Missouri:

 Brittany Borman will toss the javelin for U.S. Track & Field. She grew up in Festus and attended the University of Oklahoma. She is a four-time NCAA Champion. For Brittany's full bio, click here.

 Christian Cantwell will compete in the men's shot put for U.S. Track & Field. He attended Eldon High School and currently lives in Columbia, Mo. For Christian's full bio, click here.

 Clarissa Chun will wrestle for USA. She lives in Colorado Springs, Co., and attended Missouri Valley College. Chun finished fifth in the 2008 olympics. For Clarissa's full bio, click here

 Dawn Harper will compete in the 100 meter hurdles for U.S. Track & Field. She is an East St. Louis native and graduated from East St. Louis High School. For Dawn's full bio, click here

 Derrick Helton will compete for the USA Paralympics Rugby Team. He was born in Tuscumbia, Mo., and began playing wheelchair rugby near St. Louis about 7 years ago. He played for the University of Arizona. (Picture courtesy of The Lake Today)

 Spenser Mango will wrestle for USA. He was born in St. Louis, Mo., and graduated from Christian Brothers College in 2004. He won two state titles in wrestling. For Spenser's full bio, click here

 Chantae McMillan will compete in the heptathlon for U.S. Track & Field. She was born in Rolla, Mo., and attended Rolla High School. For Chantae's full bio, click here

 Maurice Mitchell will compete in sprints for U.S. Track & Field. He is from Kansas City Mo., and attended Raytown South High School where he won 8 state titles. For Maurice's full bio, click here

 Maya Moore will compete in basketball for Team USA. She was born in Jefferson City. Both of her parents played college basketball. For Maya's full bio, click here

Jennifer Nichols will compete in archery for Team USA. She was born in Kansas City and competed in the 2004 and 2008 Olympics. For Jenifer's full bio, click here

 Candace Parker will compete in basketball for Team USA. She was born in St. Louis. She was the first woman to win a slam-dunk contest in 2004, defeating 5 men. For Candace's full bio, click here

 Becky Sauerbrunn will compete in soccer for Team USA. She was born in St. Louis and went to Ladue High School. She is the Virginia Cavaliers' only three-time NSCAA All-American. For Becky's full bio, click here

 Matt Tegenkamp will compete in the 10,000 meter for U.S. Track & Field. He was born in Lee's Summit, Mo. Matt finished thirteenth in Beijing in 2008 in the 5,000 meter. For Matt's full bio, click here
