Missouri Man Charged with Second Degree Murder in Niece's Heroin Overdose
ST. ROBERT, Mo. (AP) - A southwest Missouri man is charged with second-degree murder after his niece overdosed on heroin.
Pulaski County authorities say 45-year-old Joseph James Fraley of St. Robert was jailed on $250,000 bond in the death of 32-year-old Melanie Fraley.
KY3-TV reports (http://bit.ly/MydOHS ) investigators allege Joseph Fraley gave his niece heroin two hours before she was found unconscious at a home in St. Robert Saturday evening. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
