BELLEVIEW, Mo. - An eastern Missouri artist has created a wooden puzzle that will be displayed in one of the world's largest zoos.
The Park Hills Daily Journal reports that David Snellen makes large puzzles depicting dinosaurs. He was recently contacted by the Bronx Zoo in New York.
So Snellen created a T-Rex puzzle that stands nearly 7 feet tall. The puzzle will soon be sent to the Bronx Zoo for display in an educational area, where children can put it together and take it apart.
Snellen's puzzles and other wooden pieces are designed, cut and finished, and packaged at a wood shop on his property near Belleview, Mo. He and his wife moved to Missouri from the Florida Keys about eight years ago.
