COLUMBIA — Missouri Softball (23-4, 8-3 SEC), sits in the Top-10 of the polls for the tenth straight week for the second time in program history at No. 8.

The Tigers went 1-2 against No. 4 Alabama in their weekend series down in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Crimson Tide won Friday and Sunday while the Tigers stole a game Saturday with a score of 9-4. Senior pitcher Chelsea Thomas started all three games. Thomas earned her 101st career win at Mizzou with the win Saturday.

Mizzou previously swept their doubleheader at Missouri State on April 3, winning a five-inning, 12-0 game before taking a 7-0 result from the Bears.

The Tigers are in the NFCA poll's top 10 with four fellow SEC schools: No. 3 Florida, No. 4 Alabama, No. 5 Tennessee and No. 10 Texas A&M.

The Tigers will travel to Kansas City with an intrastate doubleheader on Wednesday against UMKC. The games versus the Kangaroos are set for 3 p.m and 5 p.m.
