Missouri to travel to The Swamp for evening game
COLUMBIA - The Missouri football team will head to The Swamp for an evening game on Oct. 18. On Monday the Southeastern Conference announced the Gators will host the Tigers with a 6 p.m. CT kickoff, scheduled to appear on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The network will finalize the channel following this weekend's games but the time slot will be the same, regardless of the selection.
The two teams have only faced each other on the gridiron three times and the Tigers have a 2-1 series record. This will be Mizzou's second trip to Gainesville in the history of the program. The Gators grabbed the first win as conference opponents in Florida in 2012, winning 14-7. Last season the Tigers got a 36-17 win on Faurot.
The Tigers host the Georgia Bulldogs for an 11 a.m. kickoff on CBS for this Saturday.
