ST. LOUIS (AP) - A Missouri Department of Revenue worker is charged with 14 forgery counts for allegedly using expired driver's licenses to buy a key ingredient for methamphetamine.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 38-year-old Mary Ann Busch of Grover was charged earlier this month. She is accused of forging the names of eight women on electronic purchase logs for pseudoephedrine at Walgreens stores.

Pharmacies use driver's licenses to track sales of pseudoephedrine because it is commonly used to make meth.

Police say the woman worked at the Department of Revenue license office in Maplewood and obtained the driver's licenses when the victims came to renew their licenses and turn in old ones.

Busch is jailed on $15,000 bond and does not have a listed attorney.
