COLUMBIA - In their final preseason game of the year, the Missouri women's basketball team defeated Quincy University by a score of 71-42.

The Tigers thrived on both sides of the ball. Offensively, the Tigers shot well from the three-point arc as they hit 11 from beyond. The Tigers' hot shooting was led by the Stock sisters, sophomores Maddie and Morgan, as they combined for six of 13 shooting from three. Maddie Stock led the team in scoring with 12 points with senior Bri Kulas finishing with 11 and freshman Kayla McDowell nearly finishing with a double-double by scoring eight points and pulling down 10 boards.

Missouri played lockdown defense all night as they forced 23 turnovers and only 19 second half points. Three players finished with two steals and McDowell led the team in blocks with two.

The Tigers will open their regular season with a matchup against Saint Louis University this Friday, Nov. 8.
