Missourians Make a Choice About Health Care
JEFFERSON CITY - On Tuesday Missourians will be asked to decide, national health care, or no?
Proposition C gives Missourians the ability to get out of buying health care, as mandated by a national bill President Obama signed in March.
Supporters of the initiative say the federal government does not have the consitutional power to create national health care.
Opponents say Proposition C is a distraction from larger issues facing Missouri, like the state's budget troubles.
Missouri is the first state in the nation to have its residents decide on health care. Arizona, Oklahoma and Florida will have similar votes in November.
