Mizzou Athletics Receives $6.4 Million Pledge

COLUMBIA - Some confidential donors have pledged to give the Tiger Scholarship Fund $6.4 million over the next 10 years starting in 2013.
The Tiger Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support to student-athletes at the University of Missouri.
According to a press release, Director of Athletics Mike Alden said the gift will help the university's athletic program compete and grow to be a leader in the Southeastern Conference, as well as nationally.
