Mizzou baseball tops Truman State

COLUMBIA - The University of Missouri baseball team snapped their 3-game losing streak on Tuesday. The Tigers defeated Truman St. by the score of 10-2.

Columbia native John Miles started for the Tigers, but it was freshman Lale Dabney who picked up the win for Mizzou. Seven pitchers saw action for the club in the contest.

Josh Lester had a career day for Mizzou.

Lester had three hits and a career-high five RBI's. Two of those five RBI's came on a two-run blast in the third inning.

The win pushes the Tigers' record to 11-4 overall.

Mizzou's next game is Wednesday against SIUE.
