Mizzou Basketball's Clarkson Named SEC Player of the Week
COLUMBIA - Junior Mizzou basketball guard Jordan Clarkson has been named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Week. Clarkson dominated on the hardwood, aiding the Tigers to victories over Southern Illinois and Hawaii.
He tallied a career high 31 points on 12-of-18 shooting against the Salukis while also recording five assists. Against the Rainbow Warriors, he scored nine second half points in addition to four in the first frame over the course of 23 minutes. He also chipped in two assists.
Missouri is next in action on Nov. 23 when Gardner-Webb comes to Mizzou Arena. Tipoff is set for 2:30 p.m.
