COLUMBIA -- The Mizzou soccer team got its first taste of camp as they started two-a-days on Wednesday. They'll be the first Missouri squad to play as a team in the Southeastern Conference when they take on Memphis on August 17.

The team is coming off a 12-8-1 season. Last season, eight SEC teams made the NCAA Tournament.
This season Mizzou is wearing t-shirts with the motto "Prove It" on them.

"Well It encompasses so many things," said Missouri soccer head coach Bryan Blitz. "Prove it that you're going to be a good student, a good citizen prove it also that if you had a bad day you're gonna bounce back and we're trying to make history and like I said, win the S-E-C Championship so we have to prove it everyday and prove to our new conference mates that we're for real and we're here to make a statement."
