COLUMBIA - Despite the beautiful afternoon, the Tigers opted to practice indoors at the Devine Pavilion on Thursday.

They had a special guest in attendance, new Lincoln coach and Super Bowl champion Mike Jones was on the sidelines watching the Tigers during their practice. Jones said he was there to pick up some drills from the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Tyler Gabbert and James Franklin continue to battle for the number one quarterback spot. While Gabbert is currently listed a the starter now, Gary Pinkel isn't giving any hints on who will be the starter this Fall. "I've been doing this a long time. It decides when it decides, you know... we will just see where it goes and that is okay."
