COLUMBIA -- The Missouri Tigers will be playing under the lights at Faurot Field for the fourth time this season. On Monday, the Southeastern Conference announced the game time for Mizzou's fourth home game against Vanderbilt.
James Franklin's Commodores will come to town on October 6 to take on the Gary Pinkel's Tigers at 6 p.m. The game has been picked up to be televised by FSN. Both teams are looking for their first conference win of the season. Missouri (2-2) has suffered losses to No. 5 Georgia and No. 6 South Carolina while winning non-conference games against Southeastern Louisiana and Arizona State. The Tigers will travel to the University of Central Florida to take on the Knights Saturday at 11 a.m. on FSN.
Vanderbilt (1-3) has also fallen to Georgia and South Carolina along with Northwestern. Their lone win so far this season was against Presbyterian. This week the Commodores have a bye-week so they will have two weeks to prepare for the Tigers.
