COLUMBIA -- The Missouri Tigers will face NIT champion Stanford in the first round of the 2012 Battle 4 Atlantis tournament. On Thursday, the eight teams invited to compete in this year's pre-season tournament learned their first round opponents.
Missouri vs. Stanford will open up play beginning at 12:00 p.m. (CT) on AXS TV. Duke vs. Minnesota is set to begin at 2:30 p.m. (CT) on AXS TV. AXS TV is available on DirecTV (channel 306) and Dish Network (channel 131).
Game three will feature Memphis vs. VCU beginning at 6:00 p.m. (CT) on NBC Sports. The final game of round one will be between Louisville and Northern Iowa with coverage scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. (CT) on NBC Sports.
Missouri fans best remember Northern Iowa from 2010 when the Panthers knocked off No. 1 Kansas in the NCAA Tournament.
The 2nd Annual Tournament will take place Thanksgiving Weekend (November 22-24) at the Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas.
