Mizzou Women Finish Round Two at LSU Tiger Classic
BATON ROUGE, LA -- Missouri Women's Golf is currently in 12th place overall at the LSU Tiger Classic. The Tigers scored 309-315-624 through two rounds of play. Arkansas leads the tournament as they currently sit 14-over par. Tulane and host school LSU are tied for second overall with scores 24-over par. Michelle Butler is currently leading the Tigers as she is tied for 16th overall. Butler (76-73-149) closed the second round just 1-over par after recording three birdies on the day.
Taylor Gohn is tied for 32nd overall in the tournament after two rounds of play. She earned an eagle on the number six as she took only three strokes on the par 5 hole. Gohn finished the day 4-over par and is currently 9-over par through two rounds.
Alina Rogers is tied for 51st overall after shooting 77-76-159 through two rounds. Laura Kraft is not far behind Rogers with a second round tally of 165. Katherine Hepler is in a tie for 72nd overall after going 86-84-170 through two rounds.
The Tigers continue play at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.
