Mizzou Women's Basketball will play South Florida in NCAA Tournament
COLUMBIA - The Missouri Tigers Women's Basketball Team learned their NCAA Tournament fate on Monday. The Tigers will travel to Tallahassee, Florida as the No. 6 seed to take on No. 11 seed South Florida on Friday.
The Tigers (21-9) finished the regular season with five straight wins before falling to Texas A&M in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament. They will meet a South Florida team that finished 24-8 and finished third overall in the American Athletic Conference. The Bulls reached the finals of the AAC Tournament but fell to Connecticut.
This is the second time the Tigers have reached the NCAA Tournament as a member of the SEC, and the fourth all-time appearance for head coach Robin Pingeton.
