MARBLE HILL, Mo. (AP) - A southeast Missouri man is facing seven felony and two misdemeanor charges for allegedly threatening people at a party with a loaded gun and trying to run down some of them with his pickup truck.
The Southeast Missourian reports that 20-year-old Jacob Cook of Marble Hill is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday. He does not have a listed attorney.
Police say Cook went to a party in Bollinger County on Oct. 20, became belligerent and pulled a gun on the host. He then allegedly drove his truck into other vehicles and through a fence, nearly running down partygoers.
Cook turned himself in on Oct. 23 and remains jailed.
