Mo. Man Charged With Strangling Branson Teenager
BRANSON, Mo. (AP) - A 24-year-old Branson man is charged with first-degree murder in the strangulation of a teenager whose body was found covered with water in a bathtub. The Springfield News-Leader reports Sean Roberson is accused of killing 18-year-old Andros Valentin-Vargas on Friday at a Branson apartment complex. The victim was found with strangulation marks to the neck and cuts on his body.
Police say the victim's brother came home and found Roberson, who chased him out of the apartment with a knife and threw it at him. Roberson fled and eventually was found in Lake Taneycomo and taken into custody.
Police say Roberson made statements in public a month ago that he intended to kill the victim and his family.
