Mo. Toddler Killed by Car Backing Out of Driveway

KNOB NOSTER (AP) - A 1-year-old Knob Noster, Mo., girl died after she was hit by a car backing out of a driveway. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Brijae D. Carpenter was killed in the accident Sunday evening.
The patrol says the car, driven by Deborah F. Hurr of Warrensburg, was backing out of a driveway when the right rear tire hit Brijae in the head.
She was pronounced dead at a hospital.
