Moberly High School goes on high alert, 4 bullets found
MOBERLY - Moberly High School went on high alert status Thursday after students and teachers found four bullets on a hallway floor.
Moberly Schools superintendent Gena McClusky said no students were in danger and no one was harmed. She said the school executed its closed door policy for 15 minutes while school officials conducted their investigation.
"Student safety is our number one priority," McClusky said.
According to a letter distributed to students, high alert status goes into place when a suspicious situation arises where concern is high. Staff used security cameras and other resources to investigate. The building was on a closed door policy for a short time but nothing further was found.
The district says Thursday's situation will remain under investigation and parents should contact the building administrator with any questions.
