Moberly Man Arrested for Child Pornography
MOBERLY - The Boone County Sheriff's Department's Cyber Crimes Task Force arrested a Moberly man Wednesday on suspicion of distributing child pornography.
The task force serves several area counties including Randolph and said it began an investigation into a Moberly home computer network in mid-June. The department said an investigator in Columbia downloaded five child pornography photos from a suspect's computer. The task force was able to trace the photos to a specific Moberly residence.
The task force, the Moberly Police Department and the FBI served a search warrant at the residence Wednesday morning. Investigators said they seized two computers and found 248 photos and 31 videos. Investigators said the material depicted sexual molestation of young children.
The task force said it arrested 28-year-old Adam Wesley Imhoff at 416 Roberts Street in Moberly. Imhoff was transported to the Boone County jail where he will await formal charges, the task force said.
