Moberly Man Found
After sending pictures of Guinn all over the U.S., hoping someone had seen him, the family found Guinn less than a mile from where he was born and raised.
"We wanted to find him alive. You know we didn't want to have a burial. We wanted alive...Our prayers were answered. He is our Christmas miracle," Wayne's daughter, Amy Guinn, said.
A hunter found Guinn lost in the woods about ten miles south of Bowling Green. Guinn says he has no memory after buying gas in Moberly on Saturday and has no idea why he would have walked into the woods. Family members took Guinn to the Truman VA Hospital after picking him up in Bowling Green Tuesday.
"I'm 58 years old, I'm an old military man and nothing like this has ever happened," Guinn said.
Guinn is still at VA Hospital where doctors decided he is dehydrated and may have mild frostbite on his face and fingers. Doctors still want to find out why he suffered memory loss.
