Morgan County Meth Bust Leads To Charges
MORGAN COUNTY - Three Stover residents are in custody after sheriff's deputies and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force found a meth lab and packaged methamphetamine in a Morgan County home. Morgan County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michelle Brown, 17, at the scene; Elizabeth Hyman, 25, turned herself in to the Morgan County Sheriff later that day; and Camden County Sheriff's deputies arrested Silence Hyman, 31, later that night.
The search at 5891 Gold Nugget Road last Thursday also turned up chemicals, Hydrochloride gas generators, and other drug paraphernalia. The Division of Family Services also took a two month-old baby into protective custody at the scene.
Brown stands charged with possessing, making and distributing controlled substances, as well as first degree child endangerment. Elizabeth Hyman, 25, also faces possession and child endangerment charges, as well as with providing materials with intent to manufacture methamphetamine. Charges are pending against Silence Hyman, who was wanted for a parole violation.
