MU Campus Driving Made a Little Easier
COLUMBIA - Drivers will find it easier to navigate on the MU campus especially near the student bookstore. A steam tunnel still blocks a portion of Conley Avenue near the Maryland intersection, but that should be finished this fall. There is a renovation project on Tate Hall across from Speaker's Circle but much of the circle has reopened. And cars could easily travel down Rollins and Hitt Street today after construction closed portions of those roads this summer.
The reopening of that busy intersection makes it easier for students to reach the MU Student Bookstore. The roads are missing one thing though, the lines. Crews started line striping campus roads today and the work will run through Monday.
There is another new addtion to campus streets, black and gold street signs with the MU Tiger logo. Those signs are directing drivers all throughout campus.
