MU residence hall arson investigation leads to arrest
COLUMBIA - University of Missouri Police officers arrested a 19-year-old suspect Friday for allegedly setting two fires in MU residence halls.
MUPD Captain Scott Richardson said an investigation into incidences at Hawthorn residence on both Sept. 27 and Jan. 6 Hall led officers to Keiser Witte. Richardson said police believe Witte set a trash can on fire in the dormitory.
Richardson said Witte is charged with two counts of first degree arson.
