MU's Bracey Sprints for Football and Track
"I don't want to judge one or the other, because they both go hand in hand," he said. "They've both been helping me out in both situations, so I'll just be an athlete."
Earlier this month, Bracey qualified for the NCAA Regionals in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.49, his fastest this year.
Assistant football coach Andy Hill knows receivers have a need for speed.
"Speed is obviously something you can't coach," said Hill. "If you got speed, you have the chance to be a good receiver."
Bracey played on MU's special teams last season, averaging 21 yards per kick-off return. He plans to catch more offensive opportunities this fall.
