MU's Truman School and the City of Columbia Research Sustainability
COLUMBIA - Are you a renter who has an interest in energy efficiency and sustainability? Do you want to save money on utility costs?
The City of Columbia is partnering with MU's Truman School to survey renters about energy efficiency. The survey is posted on the city's website.
The goal of the survey is to find out how to be more energy efficient in rental properties.
Leigh Britt, Neighborhood Services manager for Columbia, said in a news release, "This survey will allow us to find out from renters what factors affect their decision on where to live, what information they would like, and how we can provide more information to them."
The Truman School students will analyze the data collected through the survey, along with feedback from focus groups. The knowledge gained could be used for future education and outreach efforts.
