Murder Suspect Found Hiding in Car Trunk

DELLWOOD, Mo. (AP) - A 28-year-old St. Louis man is now charged with murder after police found him hiding in the trunk of a car following a standoff.
Larry Wandrick was arrested after a standoff with police in Dellwood on Wednesday.
Wandrick is accused of killing 38-year-old Michael Cunningham on Tuesday. Police say the two men were at an abandoned property when they got into a quarrel. Cunningham was shot in the face.
Police investigating the shooting went to a home in Dellwood Tuesday night. They say the suspect ran into the house and barricaded himself inside.
A few hours later police found the suspect hiding in a car trunk.
Wandrick is jailed without bond.
