FULTON - The Mid-Missouri Unified Strike Team and Narcotics Group (MUSTANG) Drug Task Force arrested two people after a search warrant in Fulton led investigators to drugs, money and firearms Friday.

Sgt. Mike Sneller of the Cole County Sheriff's Department said detectives seized suspected crack cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana during the investigation in the 1700 block of Westminster Avenue. He said the task force also found $18,000 in cash, two hand guns, as well as measuring scales and packaging material. Authorities arrested Alan Lawson for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sneller said authorities also arrested Jennifer Lawson for an outstanding warrant.

The Callaway County Jail confirmed Alan Lawson posted bail by 6:30 p.m. Friday night. Officials there did not comment about Jennifer Lawson.
