MARSHALL, MO -- The No. 9 Missouri Valley College Vikings men's volleyball team went on the road Tuesday evening for a conference matchup with Hannibal-LaGrange University. The Vikings picked up a 26-24, 25-20, 25-22 victory giving the men's program a second consecutive 20-win season.

The Vikings were led by Junior Middle Blocker Jacob Haar who finished with nine kills and three blocks. Freshman Middle Blocker Jose Martins added eight kills and four blocks, while Junior Outside Hitter Peterson Silva finished with eight kills and four blocks. Freshman Outside Hitter Stan Bosovik added eight kills, with Sophomore Setter Joao Gurgel adding three aces and six digs. "To break the school record for wins last year with 21 and to record our 20th win for the second year in a row is a great accomplishment for the team and program," says Head Coach Brett Holt. "We are looking forward to the conference tournament this weekend at Graceland University."

The Vikings will take a 20-9 overall record and 5-5 conference mark into the MAMVIC West Tournament Friday and Saturday at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
