MVC Rides to Second in Rodeo

MARSHALL, MO -- The Missouri Valley College men's rodeo team finished No. 2 at the Murray State Rodeo held over the weekend in Murray, Kentucky. The Vikings finished behind the University of Tennessee-Martin at the event.
Individually for the Vikings Tim O'Connell finished second in bareback riding, Junior Ben Runyon took first place in calf roping, and Freshman Austin Buso finished second in bull riding. For the Lady Vikings, Senior Kelsey Davis finished second in breakaway roping.
The rodeo teams will be action later this week at the University of West Alabama Rodeo in Livingston, Alabama from October 11-13.
