COLUMBIA - The University of Missouri Hospital will celebrate a new addition Tuesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce.
The grand-opening of the Missouri Neurosciences Center will happen on the seventh floor of the hospital.
Medical staff will also be giving tours of the new center. Patients can expect to use the services beginning Wednesday. Many of the hospital directors and new staff will be present for the event.
The new center will conduct research and treat health problems dealing with the brain.The event is open to the public and will kick off at 10:30 a.m. For a list of services and information about the center, visit the website here.
