New Airline Lands at Columbia Regional
The U.S. Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that Mesa Air will replace Trans-States Airlines.
Mesa will provide 12 weekly round-trip flights to Kansas City and St. Louis. Trans-States announced in February it would stop flying into Columbia. But, the transportation department ordered Trans-States in April to keep flying to Columbia until the airport found a new airline. The Columbia City Council recommended Mesa on June 5.
