New Biochemistry Complex
Soon the empty lot will be filled with equipment for a year of construction. The new complex will have 7 new labs. Biochemistry professors can't wait for new complex to open.
"The opportunity to recruit additional faculty and bring really bright minds that will help train the students that are some of the best students in the nation," said Biochemistry Professor Bill Folk.
There will also be a bridge to connect the addition to the adjacent Schlundt Annex. The complex will house a $2.3 million nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer that will help scientists analyze molecules. The new building should be complete in about a year.
