New details in Fulton shooting, suspect still at large
FULTON - The Fulton Police Department released new details Tuesday regarding a shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
Detective Dal Hedges said 33-year-old Markus Berry was taken to the hospital and treated for multiple injuries. Police said Tuesday Berry was in stable condition.
Police said they are looking for 23-year-old Ladeigh Cowans in connection to the shooting. Hedges said Cowans should be considered armed and dangerous.
Investigators said the incident was reported at 5:07 p.m. Monday at 728 Grand Avenue.
The detective also told KOMU 8 News the Missouri School for the Deaf, Fulton Middle School and the YMCA of Callaway County were briefly placed on lockdown in response to the shooting.
