New Recycling Containers Pop Up in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY - Jefferson city officials recently installed nine new recycling bins in the downtown area. Serviced by Allied Waste, the bins accept plastic bottles and aluminum cans. The bins are on both sides of High Street, with one in front of the parking garage on Madison Street. The Mid-Missouri Solid Waste Material District Region H partially funded this project, and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources approved it.
