COLUMBIA - The Columbia Cougar volleyball team improved its American Midwest Conference mark to 5-0 beat Harris-Stowe State College in three sets on Monday night (25-6, 25-6, 25-4). The No. 4 ranked Cougars improved to 12-2 overall and put Columbia's regular season conference win streak to 128 consecutive matches.

Columbia totaled 36 kills in 56 attempts for a .518 hitting percentage. The Hornets logged just six kills in their 40 attempts. In addition, the Cougars served 20 aces to Harris-Stowe's zero.

The Cougars are idle until Saturday, October 1st when they play in their annual alumni match as a part of Family Day/Homecoming. Game time is set for Noon in the Arena of Southwell Complex. Admission is free to all events on Saturday.
