COLUMBIA - The Columbia Public Works Department Solid Waste Division will delay trash pick up by one day due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Trash collection for Thursday will take place Friday, and the usual Friday pickup will be staggered to Saturday. The department asks you do not put your trash and recyclables out for pickup before 4 p.m. on the day prior to your collection day.
The Jefferson City Department will operate under the same delays. Also, Jefferson City buses will not run and parking meters will not be enforced.
