North Columbia Hit-and-Run
The Columbia Police Department reported a hit-and-run accident in which a four-year-old girl was injured around 5:30PM on Tuesday. The driver responsible is still at large after immediately fleeing the scene of the accident.
The driver hit the girl while traveling west on the 1000 block of Eletta Boulevard, just north of I-70 and near Bear Creek Park.

The four-year-old girl was taken to Boone Hospital and treated for injuries related to the accident. Though police are not releasing her name at this time, they have confirmed her injuries are not life threatening.
