Olympic Coverage Reaches New Heights
LONDON - There will be some big changes coming to Olympic coverage in the 2012 summer games.
If you're looking for a way to watch all sports --- check out nbcolympics.com. The site will live stream every single event of the games,something that's never been offered before. The only catch is that you have to have a cable or satellite provider and have a TV subscription package that includes MSNBC and CNBC.
If you do, all you need to do is sign up with your provider with your username and password. Your your company can help you with this.
You can also watch all the events on your smart phone or iPAD with the app called: "Olympics Live Extra."
This year's prime time coverage will take place between 7 to 11 p-m --central time--- with host Bob Costas. All of the prime-time events will be shown on a tape delayed basis as England is 6-hours ahead of America. The prime-time hours will feature high-profile events like swimming, diving, gymnastics, and in week 2... track and field.
Besides NBC certain Olympic events will be televised on CNBC, MSNBC, The NBC Sports Network, Bravo, the specialty soccer and basketball channels, and Telemundo.
