One Jefferson City Man Arrested on Counts of Heroin Distribution
JEFFERSON CITY — The Jefferson City Police Department arrested 32-year-old Frank Collins III Friday as part of an ongoing investigation into heroin related overdoses.
Authorities arrested the Jefferson City resident for several counts of heroin distribution. A press release stated that Collins' arrest followed the Dec. 14 arrest of Tracy Davis, 44 of Jefferson City.
Both suspects, who are originally from Chicago, are suspected to be involved in heroin distribution that resulted in several heroin overdoses throughout central Missouri.
Authorities charged both with three counts of the distribution of controlled substances. Collins and Davis are being held at the Cole County Jail on $250,000 bond.
