One man dead in Sedalia house fire
SEDALIA- The Sedalia Fire Department is trying to figure out what started a fire that killed a man Thursday afternoon.
Crews responded to a call of a house fire in the 1900 block of South Grand Avenue.
Once fire crews arrived they quickly entered the home and found of the owners.
"Fire crews pulled that victim from the house and immediately began CPR once they exited the house and more started working on that patient. Approximately 1:46 p.m. the fire was out and that patient had been transported to Bothwell Hostpital, where that patient has perished and passed away," said Battalion Chief Matthew Irwin.
Authorities are not yet releasing the name of the male victim that died.
