Otto Porter Leads SCC to Third Straight Championship
COLUMBIA (AP) -- Otto Porter had 27 points and nine rebounds to lead Scott County Central to its third straight title by beating Dadeville 69-54 in the Missouri Class 1 boys' state championship game Saturday.
The Braves (29-2) shot 50 percent from the floor and forced 17 turnovers on the day. The championship is the 15th in school history.
Dominique Porter scored 18 points and Stewart Johnson chipped in 11 for Scott County Central, who held a 15-point lead at halftime. Zachary Medley led Dadeville (29-2) with 19 points and Trenton Bergmann added 14. The Bearcats shot 54 percent from the field, including 8 of 16 from 3-point range.
