Overnight Power Outage Affects Some in West Columbia

COLUMBIA - An overnight power outage in west Columbia had some residents without power and some with flickering or dimming lights.
An official with Columbia Water and Light confirmed the outage, but the cause has yet to be determined. The area affected was on west Broadway, just west of Fairview road.
Some residents reported outages as far as Scott blvd. and some reported outages at the Kelly's Ridge apartment complex.
At this time, officials are saying all service has been restored.
