Pacifier Recalled Due to Choking Hazard
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall of thousands of Care Bear Pacifiers. The commission issued the recall after the pacifiers failed to meet federal safety standards. The commission says the nipples can separate from the base and pose a safety risk for children.
The pacifiers were sold at several stores from October 2009 - June 2012 for about $1. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says to take the pacifiers away from infants immediately and contact New York-based IDM Group LLC at (212) 686-5221 for a full refund.
